UV Lamp Details

UV lamps come in many shapes, sizes and specifications literately hundreds of different models from different manufactures. So when trying to make a decision on what is really compatible with your lamps can be difficult. The truth of the matter is many if not most of the UV lamp brands do not make their own lamps usually they are made under contract with a actual manufacture of UV lamps as it with many of the parts for a reactor are contracted out. Essentially they may be assembled domestically but the actual manufactured parts come from many sources and  usually import.  So if you think you are getting a original OEM brand and paying the steep price chances are the actual manufacture can be coming from any were.

With our branded product they are from a quality import manufacture and we say this upfront. We have taken special pains to ensure the lamps meet and exceed the original equipment specifications. The science behind UV lamp manufacturing is not new and it is not rocket science , all the manufactures use pretty much the same equipment the difference is the diligence to detail and quality of the manufacture. In the lamp selection process many things have to be taken into consideration the wall thickness of the tube, the quality of the glass, the quality of the inside filament, the quality of the lamp ends/connectors then there is the lab certification to be certain the lamp meets the UV output tests. For UV lamps germicidal lamps the UV output has to meet a very narrow UVC bandwidth of 264 manometers to be effective. .
